Ricky Altahif
I have always been passionate about helping others and fascinated by anatomy and biomechanics. Pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy has allowed me to combine both of these interests, offering a fulfilling and rewarding way to make a positive impact on people's lives.
Dr. Altahif is an outpatient occupational therapist and certified hand therapist at Active Therapy Alliance. Before joining Active, he worked at Baylor Scott & White and the Central Texas Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital. Passionate about serving the Waco community, Dr. Altahif also volunteers as an occupational therapist at Mission Waco's health clinic. Dr. Altahif specializes in the rehabilitation of the hand and upper extremity, working with patients to address both post-operative and chronic conditions. He is committed to collaborating with each individual to help them achieve their personal goals and return to the activities and occupations they value most.
I love spending time with my family! I also enjoy competing in running and triathlon events, as well as reading (I try to read two books per month). Keeping an active mind and body is important to me!
